Hodge Hall: Week 45 -- The view from my desk

The calm before the snowstorm.

The unseasonably cold weather has slowed the cement work on the Hodge Hall Undergraduate Center this week.

But while it might be too cold for cement to set, the workers have been braving the chill and wind atop the "Penthouse" preparing the roof for the addition of the slate tiles.

The hope is to be able to start the tile work soon, and to finish pouring the concrete slab next week. But with a major winter storm on the way Sunday, that work might be delayed.
